The dancer Elsa Decaudin, the photographer Bastien Defives and the choreographer Simone Erbeck first met in Salvador in the year 2000 during rehersals of the dance-theatre performance "Pulsação", a play about the female universe directed and choreographed by Simone Erbeck. Later she and her French colleagues founded the company K.C.C. der PULX.

Together they developed their own style combining contemporary dance with video performance. The company's main topic is the exploration of different aspects when cultures meet and clash. The latest joint production of the three artists "Aproximar", first opened at the Goethe Institute in Salvador da Bahia, the co-producers. A new production is planned in Germany for the beginning of 2003.
